They do! It's on a BBC episode maybe blue planet or something. Saw it years ago and wanted them ever since. Look up leafy sea dragons and weedy sea dragons. Both amazing.

Haha I know right! Maybe one day.. Apparently they are insanely hard to keep in captivity too. Have to have a huge tank with a kelp forest. Would look unreal tho.

I watched a program about Ocean rider seahorses in Hawaii and they finally managed to get two pairs of these wonderful creatures and, at the time of filming, were trying to get them to breed. They said there is only one person in the world who has a permit to take one gravid male from the ocean per year. He then keeps the male until he gives birth then returns the male to the ocean. He raises the babies and sells them to aquariums around the world for $10,000 per seahorse. They only live about a year in captivity so the aquariums then need to purchase more if they want them. I don't know what year the movie was filmed that I watched (it is available on Youtube for your viewing if interested) but I'm really hoping they can get a captive breeding program going with these animals. It would be incredible to have some of them. Definitely need to win the lottery!!
