Anyone have any idea what this might be? I found it in my reef tank today after the sleeper goby was digging around.
It looks to be some sort of slug but maybe a snail before it grows it's shell if that's possible? For now I have put it into the sump until I know what it is.

Who know what hitch hikers come in on things we purchase? There are a whole host of things that take a ride on rock and corals that we put into our tanks. As long as it isn't considered a bad thing for my tank I'm quite happy to have seen one. The article doesn't mention it being bad, just boring. :)

It is a peanut worm like Torx said. I have never had issue with them. They normally come in on liverock.

They come on liverock, they are good, they eat deitris, but they have a ferocious appetites, so in most home aquariums they starve and die off eventually.
