Need Opinions And Advice On Aquascaping

hi there I'm in the process of rebuilding my tank right now been working with the aquascapinghi I have been gluing the rock togeatger with reef safe expoxy. Anyways here is a pic more to follow. My question to the reef community is... Is this aquascape set up good for flow in the tank and with providing different levels of lighting placement for corals?
I also want lots of places for fish to be able to hide in if they want a place to do so.

still trying to decide about the power heads I want some flow along the back as well as the left back corner flowing out towards the front. Again be gentle first time in 6 yrs been catching up on new techniques

I had a similar aquascape for my last tank, although it looked great I always wished that I had more flat areas to place corals on. Also depending on how many fish you get I would make more little caves for them all to hide in. That was another thing that I always wanted to change as the larger fish would always take the nice hiding spots and the smaller ones would always get left just pressing against rock or the glass when frightened. I guess it also all depends on what your plans are for the tank like what corals you want to keep. If your doing sps I bet once the top region has grown out it will look great!!!

A just my opinion though. Otherwise I think it looks freaking awesome and if you dont plan on keeping many fish you should be good...

Thanks for the feed back , I will be buying some live rock and building on to this just deciding on putting the final touches on whats shown in the pictures above and finishing them with epoxy. Later I will get some flatter piece of live rock to seed the remaining. Also going to be removing some sand and replacing old/dead with live sand.

Aquascape looks great. I'd suggest looking into the riptide for flow. Many that have them rave about total flow. Much better than multiple Powerheads in the tank.

In regards to your power heads just try to eliminate any dead area's of flow. Like MrHermit85 states your rock work really depends on your plans for the tank. If your mainly fish add some more caves and overhangs as they all want a safe spot. Corals....go with room to grow. Looks great and welcome back to the hobby!

im going to go with mixed reef prolly smaller fish as this display is only 55gallons, for flow I have two 1200GPH hydor koralia 4 plus a 900gph return from my sump. Still tryin to decided if I want to drill my tank to get rid of the old overflow but really nervous on drilling through glass even though they make it easier now and sell drill presses for cordless drills for this exact thing. Just makes me nervous I guess lol again I appreciate the feedback guys.

it is very nice. when I did my aquascape I had small fish and then got bigger and bigger fish.. I would also suggest flat spots to, in case you ever decide to go with gobies or blennies.. they like to perch or mine do anyway.

Perfect so when I buy live rock to seed il look for flat pieces. Thanks for the feed back guys I appreciate the advice
