Need suggestions on water movement

I need some suggestions on replacing / upgrading my powerheads. I have two older ones, not sure model or vendor. I'm having trouble with one, every time the power goes out, it comes on in reverse (sucking) which is a real hazard for some of my fish. I have to reset it several times before it starts in the right direction. I was looking at the MP40's but the cost is so high. This is for a 90G tank.

The price looks great! How reliable are these? would a 90G require 2 pumps? one on each side?

I have 1 WP25 in my 90 Gal Mixed... Blowing everything around on the lowest setting...

I'll get a second soon to pickup any dead spots behind the rock work...

Kraken's reef in Richmond Hill is where I got my WP-25. Not sure if he has the dual controllers or a double pump package.

I know it's not in Canada like you were wanting.......but the shipping is quick!!

I did have to pay a little bit of duty, but I think that is bc I ordered 2 DC pumps and 4 WP's.

I am a HUGE jebao advocate. I have 2 WP-40's in my 120, I had 2 WP-25 in it and it was more then enough, but I like to have the extra umph if needed, plus I was helping out some members by me upgrading. I use an DIY Apex cable which makes them that much better for me.

Another +1 for the Jebao.  I love my wp40 as much as my Tunze will be adding another.  Got mine from fish street after Xmas when they had free shipping on them.  Unreal deal.  If Kraken has some at Fragfest I will likely grab one there.

I haven't got mine yet, but based on everyone here I went with 2 for my 30g. The Koralia is just always on, so I will be using it to mix my SW when the WP10s arrive.

2 WP25 would be great, For those of you who say they blow everything around, try and have them blow towards the surface, They have a pretty wide spray and try the different modes until you get what you want, These pumps are good and fairly cheap, I also have a MP40WES and love it but they are pricey.

Purchased the kit from Reef Supply, they were the only one I found with the dual controller. hope to have them in my hands shortly!

Any tips on placement? both on one side or one on each side facing each other? Most of the vids I saw have them positioned about halfway up the wall pointing slightly upwards towards the surface.

Great point. I have mine pointed towards the surface slightly. The flow still circles around enough and makes a great flow across the bottom of the tank without blowing stuff around.
