Well after yesterday taking a risk with the banner fish I sold them and went back to get a new fish.  Yes people, I went to corbrets. I was a long time customer of Dave's and knowing he is in charge of the saltwater section I feel a little more at ease. I told him the banners werent reef safe and he marked the tanks. Out of kindness he gave me a great deal on any fish I wanted in the store. He felt awful thinking they were reef safe. No harm no foul. Anywho I picked up a cleaner wrasse to replace my shrimp. Rip Jacques! Dave's doing a good job back there and I do see an improvement on the tanks. Lighting would help bring attention to the fish and probably help. Clean up the glass and it would look a million times better. Yes some fish didn't look that great but it's a gamble I guess when you ring fish overseas. Anyway, ridicule me if you will but my faith is growing and I hope to see better results and more variety at corbrets! Good job Dave.

I was there on Tuesday. I agree, the place could use some lighting. Also it is a little dungeon like... not as scary as Blobs basement mind you. He hooked me up with some discounts as well. Not a horrible experience, not a perfect one either. I have heard stories that go either way and do not want this to turn into a flaming thread....but... my experience was good for the most part. He has a lot planned for the saltwater section to. All of that was before I said I was a frag tank member as well. Over all, was pretty good, even got a frag out of his DT.

JK, Good to see they might be cleaning up a bit.
Now if they drop the prices on dry goods to match everyone else's they might have a shot at being a successful buiz, lol
