New Sock Idea

For me anyway this has been working great. It has doubled the length of time I need to change my socks. I'd only get about 2 days out of using just a felt sock. Now that I added the mesh to catch the larger stuff the felt sock lasts longer to catch the small particals.
Its simple. Just stuff a mesh sock inside of a felt sock and that's it.

great idea, I may be in the dark ages, but why not put a chunk of filter floss in there that you pull out daily? If changed daily it would pick up a lot of the bigger waste and shouldn't cause issues. Might help extend the days before sock changes too.

Lol I guess I have to be realistic. I'm far too lazy to do that every day. This is working out perfectly now though.

I'm just thinking back to my freshwater days and the huge pumps we had that we used polyester fiberfill in and I will eventually try it for mine, I think both are an excellent idea ! good thinking on your part !
