i am gonna unload my 2 insane clowns      and the one big damsel    and keep smaller damsels    now i was gonna get some more  smaller clowns      how man can i use in that 65 gallon    do they all have to be the same family /  or is it best to buy a pack of clowns that are already in a tank and getting along?...what about anemones  ?  do yu need like  1 anemone per pair of clowns

Never had any issues with clownfish had plenty of issues with those damsel fkrs. I only use them for cycling a tank now

I wouldn't do anymore then a pair. A whole bunch of clowns would last for awhile, but once they start to mature Nd become aggressive then there will be guaranteed losses and  issues. The only way this would maybe work and probably not long term, would be if they all came from the same clutch.

The only Damn sels I'd keep are Black& Whites but they are hard to find. Why Clowns any way.Ya they're cute but they harass most LPS A Goby tank is nice.

Pretty sure they were from the same clutch. I will guarantee you , you will have problems with more then 1 pair. Do a quick google search and check out reef central you will find out. It's different in the wild cause they're all from the same clutch.

Not trying to offend anyone here, you don't have to take my word for it, but I've done more then enough research and have my share of experiences with clowns.

I agree, Maybe if you've got a real big tank. But in this case you don't. If you're set on keeping Clowns. Then breed them. It's easy enough to do. A few more tanks and few more bucks and you're set.

id scrap your damsels, they are just to darn aggressive and eat too much.  as for clowns, why does every one want a cschool of them? get 2 of the same breed and buy them from an lfs already hosting. buy the clowns and the anemone and your done with it. by the way, never let an lfs remove an anemone that's locked on to a rock or hard substance. you will have 50/50 survival. tell him/her to give you the whole damn rock.
if your ever in the Windsor area, stop by, i breed clarkis and my rose bubble tip anenomes are always splitting. i can sell you to clarkis and a 6 inch anemone for 65 bucks. and they host. i cant even get them to leave the anemone. i literaly pull the anemone out and half dozen clowns are stuck in side!!!!
