Helping a friend set up a 65g tank this weekend.  It is drilled and has some plumbing - it has some white pipe (is that PVC or ABS???), but it has been cut, so won't reach the sump.

a)  where can I find more of the pipe - I assume just Home Depot?
b)  what should we use for glue/adhesive that is reef safe?

Thanks!

you need pvc and pvc glue safe for potable water.. and also the purple pvc primer, prime the joints first, then glue.

Do I really need to wait 24 hours on the glue curing???

I never have, lucky to wait 24 minutes :D

Same here.. Once you slip a joint together, it should be good to go..
