Polyp Extension On Wild Pieces

So I grabbed some wild Aussie sps pieces and the colours in them Are great still just not very much polyp extension on one of the pieces the other ones are happy as can be. Parameters are all good just wondering what your guys experience with wild pieces and pe

A week isn't very long. They will still be acclimating to lighting changes at that point, and with wild pieces, they may never adjust to captive lighting and simply fizzle out. That is the gamble you take with wild SPS though, definitely not going to be a 100% success rate. Your colours may not hold, they may die, or they may look fantastic and actually improve their colour, regardless of how great your husbandry practices are.

The pieces I got have been under metal halid for a month from the date of arrival and in my tank around the sAme par number
As for pics I'm still playing with the iPhone and am in have luck with it ether
It looks blue

always will be....ask poseidon he uses gel screens and seem too work ok.... what do you feed your corals the smaller the particles the better for sps i use reef roids and their polyp extension and had good success even with my wild caught acro's

They actually have good pe now that I moved them higher in the tank I don't feed my tank anything just fish poop and when I add mysis I pour it all in without straining it
