kinda iffy man. I could be wrong on this, but im pretty sure they arent the proper grade of plastic. They may leech undesirables into your rodi water. Even food grade containers can be iffy i hear, lab grade are the best bet.  If you have the barrel you could always put some rodi water in it, let it sit for a day or so, and then test the water with every test you own :)

...unless you're propagating yumas, then TEST KITS BE DAMNED!

the "food grade" barrel that i use originally leached into my ro/di water.  but after a few good vinegar scrubs, and wasting about 150 gallons or ro/di water, it finished pulling out the impurities.  It now holds 0tds.

see if your LFS has any barrels or use a old fish tank!  I picked up my barrel from my LFS  for like 10 bucks
