I have a rock with 2 types of mush on it and one of the mush is growing over another one, is there a way to get the mush off the rock. I have never fragged/removed anything from a rock so I will need very simple instruction's, thanks

You can cut it off or razor blade it off to. Or place a small rock at the base and wait a week till it grows on. Then pull it off.

You can stick mushrooms in a blender and they will grow from the pieces if tank is stable and healthy. I would not be worried about it ripping.

Unibob is right Heath - just don't set the blender to liquefy ! ; )
I cut off an overgrown mushroom with scissors while it was on a rock and it was perfectly fine
Where I made the cut, another mushroom grew out of the stump !

thanks Eric, I just might do that, I am not comfortable cutting it. I only have 2 heads of the mush that is getting crowded out..I don't want to destroy it..it could be a bit before I get there, NEED to do the plumbing on the other tank and get it running. Its not real attractive having an empty glass box sitting in the living room..

I don't believe you can kill it even just by ripping it off the mushrooms would likely grow back on the stub that's left behind

I have watched several of the video's, still not comfortable but I am sure if shown in person by someone that has done it I will be less nervous...
