Replacement parts for python (Cleaning hose)

So I have had it with this:

It always manages to spray everything in the near vicinity and get everything soaked. It drives me nuts. Little tiny sprays come out through every tiny nook and cranny on this thing.

Are there better upgrades or better solutions for pumping or drawing water out of my tank? It is also kind of a pain in the ass as it uses a boat load of water to create a vacuum to drain my sump for the water changes.

Are they available in brass or something?

I have a t off my return pump that feeds a 3 valve manifold. 1 part goes to my biopellets, 1 to gfo and the other is blank that I hook a hose through and pump water out of my tank with that. I also use the old fashion 'suck on the hose' method if needed.

An MJ in the mixing pail with hose attached at the moment.

I use an mj for the auto top-off, and for the salt mixing and pumping water in/out of the tank.  Just get some bulk hose that fits the output on the mj.
