i have a water blaster 5000 by coralvue and it doesn't work. Never has lol. It's brand new and I think the impeller is shot.

So, I'm looking for a new pump for a 110 g frag tank and 100 g sump. I'm thinking jabao 12000, eheim, or other. The mag pumps are too loud for my liking.

What do you all say for this application.

Total head calc

3 90s. 1" return. 48" total rise. 5 foot plumbing run horizontal.

I love my Jebao dc12000. Some people have had issues, but even if you buy a back up, you are still out less money. Dead silent and controllable.

Oh, and mine pumps up 2', then 4 x 45° U turn down 5' under my house, across 20' (or so) Then back up almost 10' through 1'. It also feeds my TLF150 with two cup gfo.

I also use a Jebao. It is a great option, runs pretty quite, and is controllable.

TORX - how do you have your reactors plumbed? Can you please let me know, and maybe a pic or two when you have some time.

Thanks!

I just have a T off my return line.
Sorry to hijack but
:worthless:
Can't really get photos under my house, especially this time of year.

I will try and do an update on my build thread so we don't hijack here

My system runs the jabeo as well. Sump in basement, likely 10-11' of head height, easily 5 90°s 20' of 3/4" pipe anyways. Flow is good. I'm sure I can do better but no need. I had a mag 18 on this system but the jabeo flows more

Or buy a POS corraline water blaster. Struggle with Carlos at coralvue who wants more documentation than immigration. Remove the water blaster. Remove the screw on thing from the water blaster.

Attach jaebo.

Listen to jaebo. Not hear jaebo.

See water flow.

Be happy.
