Ok so, my third attempt at keeping a leopard wrasse alive!  This guy is already a mysis pig and somewhat well fed!  We shall see what fate the Gods decide for it!

Ok...acclimation time 2.5hrs!!! this time he went direct into my DT.  I fed the tank heavy first then dumped him in and he went to feeding right away!!! Initial prognosis is SUCCESS!!!

Thanks to BA's for keeping him and feeding him for a week!

Next find will be a Borbonius Anthias!!! After seeing one at IA Im hooked.....

holy smokes Im on fire!! SUM has Borbonius Anthias for $120 per... $249 at IA...2 fer 1....a little bit of searching pays off!!!

Wrasses are definitely jumpers! Best bet, when keeping one, is to make a DIY screen for the top of your tank. BRS sells the kits and they come in handy for keeping those little guys from jumping out onto the floor... Lost my Wrasse that way once. Never again...

Pics and vid are great.

I think you have a female, as the males display more blue vibrancy with a full coloured tail. Because its still young, it may still change to a male based on its recent captive environment? It will be interesting to watch.
