Read the comments.  Seems that guy just really likes amino acids, and says he can tell just by looking at a tank if someone uses them or not.  That's a bit kooky IMHO.

I've tried zeo AA's and I believe Brightwells as well and I have come to the conclusion (similar to some commentators on that blog) that AA's do in fact work but are not needed in an appropriately feed system.  Amino Acids are the the broken down building blocks of protein.  They are useful as a coral supplement in a system that is food starved and can help bring colours back....but I would never recommend them long term unless you are using the zeovit system or similar.
