Yes it may be a little cheaper depending on shipping and the exchange. The other thing is he may not sell up here if he has a distributor up here.
I just worked it out quick 189 US so 30% exchange say, that works out to 245.70 then add lets say 25 for shipping that's 270.70 and then and the ON sales tax that 35.19 and for total 305.89 and from RSC 295 plus tx. 333.35 and you save 27.46 that's if they would use US post if they use a Courier you would have to add a Brokerage fee of anywhere from 30 to 40 dollars on top.

The 1" is 215 plus free US shipping. I bought a deluxe one today and am going to get a 1" next week from Ed at sea-swirl. Might be a gyre for sale!

I ordered my 2 3/4" Thursday. Shipping to my parents place in Florida who are headed back end of week. Ed was a pleasure to deal with.

I just put mine on last night. 2 mp40s and 2 swirls and i have unbelievable flow. its totally random with the MP40s on pulse and the swirls sweeping back and forth. Now Im mad that i didn't put them on before this!

its mind blowing. another few weeks and the sps can go in. Very excited to see the acros reaction to this.

May be a gyre coming up for sale!
