i have two ai sol blue over my 30 gal zero edge. Should I upgrade one of the sol blue to a hydra?
Is the full spectrum worth it?
It will cost about $250 U.S. to convert

I think if you do upgrade you will only need 1 - do you find the sol are not doing the job? Or you looking for more control.

really im getting great colour and pretty good growth (till the horror show leak) even now everything is finally doing good again.... what do you run them at and for how long mine were 10" above a 24" deep.... i thaught of upgrading just to get more colour pop

If they are working why upgrade save $ and use it to upgrade something else. Don't get me wrong I like my hydras but you are getting great growth and spread already.

I only use 5% red and 10% green

the uv is great but can be tricky when adding to a tank that has never had it.

I was just reading on rc how the uv is such a benifit. Mine are great right now but like all reefers I like to waste money lol.
I run mine at 15% white 65 blue 65rb

i had to turn mine up to w30-b80-rb86 to keep some of the acros i have i also changed all the lenses to the narrow ones instead of the wide and narrow beam configuration it comes with. would build a uv stunner strip for myself if i knew howi just like the added colour pop
