Skimmer For My New Tank

Hi guys,

I am thinking to get this skimmer for my 180 gal new tank + 60 gal sump

can u advice ? I am thinking to go bigger might be better and clean better the water , am I mistaken ?

I have the curve a5 seems to be ok. Have only had it for 2 months, took the better part of that time to break in. Had to raise it to 4" of water and slowly lower as bio load increased, to prevent it from overflowing. When I clean the cup out it'll overflow for a couple hours
