Skimmer question

Okay I have a 150g tank but limited space under the stand I can only fit smaller skimmers under 22 inches and was wondering if it's possible to use 2 smaller skimmers or do I need one big skimmer?

Yup, 2 is good if you choose that route and can fit both in your sump. Another idea to look at would be an external skimmer.

Check out this skimmer pretty small foot print. The sales rep at orphek who sold me my orphek Atlantik led pendant told me this skimmer will handle a lot bigger of a tank then it's rated for. I know that I considering purchasing one.

Do u know how many gallons there good for?

The skimmer’s pump draws a maximum of 25W and is skimmer is designed for systems up to 100-200 gallons. According to Orphek, this leads to increased efficiency that they put to the test on a larger system. According to the company, that during the testing, the new Helix skimmer was also tested on 1,000-gallon tank for a three-week period and saw an increase in water quality and the health of the system.

The ATI skimmer would work for you as well. goreef has one on sale right now because there is a scratch on it... Big whoop.

Sure two will work, often better than a huge skimmer, I hate being restricted my height in the stand.

The new Deltec SC skimmers have pretty serious performance considering how short they are.

We use the SC2560 on our systems and they are rated @ over 600 gallons and under 24" tall.
