Some Sort Of Snail

Hey everybody, I seen this snail eating some algae. I am not sure of the name or if it's reef safe. The pic is shitty but it has a flesh that comes out and goes over his shell. He is the blue thing in with the zoas.

It's the fuzzy looking blue lump between the orange zoas. The fuzzy is flesh that it slides over its shell. The shell is smooth as glass.

Bingo. Thanks Eric. It says it feeds in algae but if there is none them it eats softs and sponge. I think I might have found where my zoos are going.

its a cowrie lol wish i had seen this earlier i used to get them all the time from steve at La but he can only get them during a couple months a year they are great nocturnal cleaners

It's awesome this little guy stays out all day and eats algae. He's amazing
ya they were the best kind of snail i ever had they get in every nook and cranny where the others cant plus when the zebra flesh pattern covers they look really cool:cool: im waiting to find some somewhere
