One acro in my tank was going white in weird spots and it seemed like once those spots got better it would appear in other areas of the same acro
Well tonight I took it out and dipped it and this little guy fell off,

Very small, any chance he could be eating the acro? Or is he just in the wrong place at the wrong time lol

Tough to I'd when they are really small but it could be a whelk.  If you see one alive and it has no eyestalk it's probably a whelk.  Opportunistic carnivores will eat anything meaty so usually not SPS unless they're really hungry.  They are major clam and snail killers, big ones will go after sleeping fish.....  Look up mud whelk but there are a lot of species.

Its possible it could have been eating the flesh.

Here is someone who had the same occurance with the same type of snail.

Whether they are eating the dying flesh or not, the same type of snail seem to be in the same situation.

The fact that there is a snail like that on your acros is quite strange....usually these creatures will only go where there is a food source.... Like on rocks or glass,etc...
Usually you won't see any on acros unless they are in fact eating them....
If I seen any sort of creature like this on my acros, I would toss it and think nothing of it.
