Star Fish

I am looking for a safe fish for a reef aqaurium anyone got a suggestion?

If you have a lid fire fish are nice. Mandarin goby if your system is mature and full of pods, wrasses(they may eat smaller shrimp or inverts tho), cardinals, clowns, blue chromis.

Yeah i was confused after i posted. But i decided to leave my post anyways just in case lol. I have a blue linkia in my tank, never bothered a thing.

any starfish will mozy around eating scrap mysis, clams or any other leftovers they find. if you held a chunk of table shrimp they will crawl on your hand and eat it

Don't feed it. The purpose of the starfish is a scavenger and eat up uneaten food. You feed him and he won't scavenge

Only feed the starfish if you have nothing in there for him to eat.
I find with linka stars. You should give a small piece of nori algae if the tank stays very clean.

Got an orange one yesterday. Love him! I'd like to get a blue one, too. Would both work in a 75g?

I have an orange one and a bigger brittle starfish. Both are doing great! My tank is a 75 G.
There's usually food the fish dont get to...so the starfish manage to find it. The brittle star will take a small piece of
raw shrimp if offered to him.

I have had a brittle star fish in the coral tank before it crashed and it was fine, didn't bother anything..

my brittle is the size of a dinner plate so i need to feed him a chunk every now and then or else my seahorses might look like dinner lol plus is cool to have him eat from my hand every now and then for shits and giggles. i dont think they ever truly get full... if they find something better ive seen them expell just to eat something else

My grandaughter says the brittlestar looks like a sea monster! LOL! He comes out as soon as any food hits the water!
They move quite fast when they want to. I give this guy raw shrimp every few days...sometimes he steals from the goby and pistol shrimp. I find these inverts quite interesting to watch.
