Hey All,
Was wondering what everyone was running for a refugium light ? I'm looking to grow mangroves and cheato and was wondering what works the best and it the most cost effective ?

I grow cheato and mangroves like crazy.

All I use are clamp lamps from Lowe's with 6500k cfl 100w equivalent energy saver bulbs. One for my cheato and two for me 15 mangroves

Do those style of lights create much heat ?

No much at all. Never hot to the touch. Just warm

i got my desk light from canadian tire and i got a 6500k bulb ... i also put egg crate on top so my light wont fall threw into the water
