These are the things I would have done differently

#1 would have waited to get better LED's (started with vertex)
#2 would have gone with a coral species tank - like lps only or softy's or sps - not a mixed reef.
#3 would have bought an ato as one of my first add-ons
#4 Wouldn't waste so much money on chasing PH/cal/alk - should have used kalk early on.
#5 would never use chemicals (red cyano rx)to kill cyano
#6 I would go slower

i wish i added a deep sand bed, fuge and algae scrubber earlier.... so far 14 weeks no wc with tap and prime.... sps zoos and gorgs still loving it

I would of kept my tank when I moved, Atleast I don't have a problem with not enough space in the tank
