I bought a used swc skimmer used and last night it was overflowing and bubbling like crazy. I can't walk away from it without fear the cup will overflow. The micro bubbles are insane. Soooo many. I see no adjustments on the skimmer for water or air only cup height which I have as high as possible. I've never used one befor and have no manual and google is sucking. Any one who has used one please advise

I have used the exact same model. It has a very long break in period. The things get really filthy internally, which suggests to me that it is pretty unused. If it is indeed new or barely used i would recommend cleaning it in vinegar to remove all the manufacturing residues. If I recall correctly it took me about 2-3 weeks to break in.
