Bill at Incredible Aquarium usually has em for 21-23 dollars i think *check his website
I think NAFB had them for $20 a pop but by the time you drive to toronto and back you have probably dished out $40 in gas.

Does he have them in stock? And not sure of the combination of bulbs I should use, I need 6? Any help would be great. I'm thinking about keeping softies and lps since I won't be able to keep sps with t5'S?

Aqua Blue Special x2
Purple Plus x1
You can consider changing the AquaBlue Specials for the new Coral Plus bulbs for an overall "bluer" look.

The new coral plus bulbs 50 blue 40 white and 10 red so it should look.way better than the aquablue specials

I use the exact same bulbs as teebone in my 75g and do pretty well with all coral, including SPS

Nah, you get more pop from the purple. And the coral don't seem to mind.

Can't remember which ones he is using, but I think they offer the best PAR from all actinics.

yessir - i got the UVL super actinics.
best par of all the Actinic only bulbs and nice purple glow.
i have an 8 bulb over a really small tank so i could afford the drop in par. I wouldnt run super actinics over a larger tank with only a 6 bulb fixture for you will want as much light as you can get on a larger tank. I was burning corals in mine so it was okay to drop the par a bit

4 x ati blue plus 2 @ the front 2 at the back
1 x 10 000- 12 000k aqua science in the middle
1 x figi purple in the middle

I think I'm goinngn to buy 3 blue plus this week and the rest next. I don't have coral in my tank yet, just rock and 2 fish. But would I be able to throw a frogspawn in there with just those 3 bulbs till I get the rest?

Yeah but you will only be able to fire two. Bulbs have to be installed in pairs if youre using a standard fixture. But evenrwo is enough for now
