OK guys need some help. My sump wont fit through door's on my stand and I am considering removing the middle post to get it in.
Info stand is made from MDF for 110 Gal 60"x18"x24" solid back with 2 holes cut for hoses and wiring ect.. front 2 doors post then 2 more doors. Tank is full. Can this be done?

If tank can be emptied quickly, you can cut, put sump in then replace piece you cut out.

Impossible to call without seeing the structure of the stand and supports etc. My 60" 120gal has front doors with no support, but depends on how yours is braced

I actually cut open a panel on the side of my stand to place my sump.

I'm by no means an expert on tank engineering but I look at a tank design in that the front and back face glass are like 2- 24" high beams so in my mind, support on the ends is carrying all the load... if the ends of your cabinet look well built then I would think your be ok.  :-\
