Tank Vs Stand Question

I want to stick a 65gallon tank 48x 18"
Foot print on a 48"x 24" stand.

So 3 sides of the tank would be touching, but one long side would not. Is this an issue? Or should I be ok? Tank has black trim

Took me awhile to realize you are talking about a steel stand (right?) ! Personally, I wouldn't chance it. Throw some 1/2" ply on top of stand and you'll be good to go though.

Yes It would be a steel stand, so don't risk it then would be the general consensus?

Turns out I'm not gonna use the steel stand lol, only gives my 3" of clearance for the sump so screw it.

On the other hand- steel stand avaiable

If it was a foot shorter id be all over it. Im lookin for a stand for a 36×18×12 frag tank.

It's 48"x 24" wide
