Tek Ballast

Im looking for a ballast to replace the one they crapped out in my 36'' 6 bulb unit , the ballast that crapped out is the one that runs the 2 bulb front and back. Now i dont know jack sh*t  about this kinda stuff , I need to find a replacement ballast and not sure what kind or where to look . any help would be awsome .

Bill at IA can get you an oem ballast. I think goreef and jlaquatics carries them too

hey geitz was it a a ballast that runs 1-2 bilbs or 3-4 bulbs ? Im not sure how to swap them out .

How many bulbs are out on your unit? 2 or 4?


If only the 2 bulb balast is shot why not throw some leds in those two slots and put a led driver in place of the ballast
I can do it all for you, inc the ballast swap, if you provide the beers. Im located by sherwood forest mall

oh boy , now you got me thinking . that does sounds like a killer idea , but this light is just for a frag system to I would like to get all 6 bulbs going , its just the 2 bulbs on the outside that are out . man phi i will get back to you on that , how much you thibkn it will cost to do LED , i know nothing about them or what i would need .

$75-$100 for all the supplies if you go with the aquastyles bridgelux leds.about $40-$60 for a new ballast.  We could move the working bulbs to the outside and do a strip of leds in the centre.

ya it would be cool to do , I guess either way I need to order something here shortly , if someone has a replacement ballast in stock in the GTA area i wll just pick it up , but if i have to order i will decide then.
