Given it’s Thanksgiving, I wanted to say “thank you” to everyone here @TFT. Sadly, yesterday I officially left the hobby as I dismantled my 9 year old system. Looking forward to downsizing meant simplifying life and while the reef brought me years of happiness, it is time for a new chapter in life. I won’t ever regret getting into this hobby. I have had the chance to raise banggai cardinal fry, discover new things in the reef appearing seemingly endlessly, watch life grow and learn how to care for a micro slice of the ocean. It has also come with sadness with the loss of fish, frustrations with keeping everything in-check and lets not get started on the $$ invested. But, even with all this, I am most thankful for my virtual ‘friends’ here on TFT. While I visit other forums, this is my go-to site. Yes its smaller but sometimes smaller means closer-knit and a more meaningful community. Thanks in particular to @TORX - I’m not sure who else is responsible to maintain the site but thanks to all involved. I have had the pleasure to meet some of you through the buying and selling of items or at a Frag Fest which I had no idea existed until 2 years ago when one came to Niagara. I still have a few remaining items for sale in the Classified section so maybe I’ll meet a few more of you, but for now, thank you to everyone...I hope to be back here in the future...probably a bio cube or something that will fit in an 800sqft condo lol...
