Apparently, it monitors everything in your tank. ALK, CAL, Nitrates, Ph, Mg, Salinity, etc. If this works and is very accurate, it would be an awesome product! Especially, if they can get it to work with controllers for email alerts, etc if something gets out of wack.

Sounds like the unit will cost around $600 and the test foils need to be replaced every 90 days, which is guesstimated at around $35 a pop. Still, for constant monitoring, it may be worth the investment one day when we can see some real 3rd party testing occur.

Jesus, if this is legit, I am in 1000000000000%.

It logs everything for you to cloud for you so you can review your parameters when something goes screwy!!!

Mindstream is one of the most exciting new devices to cross our desks in a long time. This upcoming device is a total aquarium monitoring system that automatically takes measurements of multiple aquarium parameters such as pH, dKH, ammonia, NO2, NO3, Ca, Mg, salinity, oxygen, and temperature ... yeah, basically everything you'd ever test for. And it does this without test reagents or strips, and transmits data wirelessly to boot! Mindstream provides Advanced Aquarist with the first detailed look behind their monitoring system.

Biggest one missing for the reefers is Po4. But it is said to be in the works.
