I saw that for sale on Kijiji. Looked good. Was tempting at the price.
Well, everything survived the night, now to hook up the lights and start aquascaping. There is a ton of rock here, too much for what I want, looks a mess in there right now. He had a lot of Fiji rock i think he said, not very pourous and to me more resembles base rock. If anyone in Sarnia is looking for a bit of rock. Not quite sure on the pounds. Maybe 20-30? Just a guesstimate.
It is the worst. Ian has a table at the store to test build aquascape, but you are doing yours in a live tank. Wet heavy rock sucks. It is the same thing I did. Lots of cursing and wet towels.

Nice pic of your new tank, ah aquascaping? Yes not fun, sometimes you get lucky but not usually,
I'd say use as little as you can it your display and throw the rest in the sump, I like the look of rock in the display but there's a fine line between getting it to look great and over doing your display with rock, I never leave enough room on my sand for sand dwelling corals,
I was thinking about drilling a hole, just one hole in the rock pieces, on the end if possible and stacking them using Acrylic rods with Acrylic bases if possible and making either one longated structure entertwinded or piles of 3 or 4 rocks stacked, but of course the more room you have in your tank would be better,
Which would mean setting up some sort of large bin with your rock in it in front of your tank and drilling the holes while submerged in the bin and try and be creative in your display all the time pissing off your corals and fish unless you can remove them as well, which could be done quite easy, be patient and you never know you might just do a great job.
I would encourage you to do all this on a day when your better half is away for the day and the kids are in school. And try to have some fun.
