Vertex Cerebra On Brs

5:15 before he even starts talking about Cerebra. He compares writing controller code with a non controller code video clip, or at least no code that I have ever seen or used on my Apex. Coding is almost more difficult. He points out all the extra settings and says just to skip over it. No more or less difficult then Apex, just different. I was actually starting to get really excited about Vertex coming out with a controller...now that I see this, I am very disappointed.
A new teaser video from Vertex promises an imminent release, slated for June 20th, so just about a week from now until its release. I will be watching for it.
Oh dear god are they ever. The screen is freaking huge and thick. I am all for a new product, but I do not think they went leaps and bounds ahead of Apex or any other controller.

They said many times this was not final product. I would have a hard time believing those power bars are finished product. Never know I guess, but would be shocked. Especially since you don't see it in the Vertex teaser which has been out for a bit now compared to what was shown in the BRS video. I guess we will see soon enough. This thing has been coming "soon" for like 4+ years. Aside from the Mindstream, I can't think of something more delayed than this. You'd think they would get it dead right.

A few more details, but looks like it's a BETA release to help iron out bugs with consumers. Crazy good price if you want to be part of that.

On the FB link it said 'Offer available only in the U.S.' Not sure if that's the same with the BRS site though.

They said there will be another video released tomorrow with more details. We need to see costs of other probes, how the interface works with other items. For example their Libra doser which I have. Also can you link the system to other tanks. I have my Display upstairs across my house, and frag and sump in basement. How will that work, etc, etc. There is a whole lot of fluff being shown at this point in time. We shall see.
