Hi Guy's I got my R/O unit hooked up and have some questions. Is it normal for the DI section to not be full of water when running? I notice that when you stop flow the DI section fills and unit stops, start flow again and water drops in DI section almost to bottom. The PSI meter is at about 135 and when I stop flow it went to back flush and PSI was almost at 150 is this normal.

Thanks

I find that if you unscrew the canister a bit and let the air out then they will stay full.

Ya well from what I read on hear and seen on YouTube it became a simple choice. I wish I could have afforded the 200 Gal unit but I ordered a bunch of other stuff, like Kessil lights and Jeboa 6000 pump heaters and so on. I must admit so far I am impressed with the Vertex.

Good choice, The best Reef investment I made and ya mine does the same, When I'm filling my ATO I fill 20 GL in Approx. 2 hours and it manages to fill half way.
