Found this and thought it was quite interesting, long and is hard to hear at times but very interesting when he talks about studies on Corals and Par readings and how quick Corals obtain the sun they need and the rest of the time is spent battling the sun.

Still working through it, but Dana Riddle has always impressed me with his articles--very thorough with well hedged and limited claims--something the hobby could use more of, as opposed to sweeping and untestable generalities.
