As someone who specializes in residential water treatment, I can truly say," If you can't drink your own water, you have problems". Places like London and Toronto area are pulling their water from the great lakes, which is about 7 grains hard. I put systems in where the water is 20, 40, 120 grains hard, or just so bad it's untreatable. And that isn't to mention Iron, Sulpher, bacteria, tanins... Sewerat is doing what he needs to do, and it isn't just for the fish. Some places just have bad ground water. Big city people are spoiled when it comes to pulling water out of the tap. Well at least the ones with lake water.

Definitely not going to complain about city water. I have lived in the country and used well water and that's not fun :) Great setup BTW

Growing up we had well water, had a guy come in and test it. He said he wouldn't brush his teeth with our water. We kept using it like we always had, nobody every seemed to get sick in our house.

Was this a guy from a company that started with a "Cul"? I use to work for a company where that was a sales tactic. Biggest bunch of crooks in the water treatment business.

Theirs another 2 groups that are a-holes too... we offer a free water test.. oh your system is failing. and the scratch and win company. IMHO the best ones are the small people that don't advertise and don't push. I'm going threw something similar with gas fitters half of them ignore that the whole system doesn't/hasn't ever met code the other half are thru the roof to correct the problem.:mad:
