I have a RBTA in my 14 cube. Has been happy for the past 4 months I've had it but something set it off today! It's crawling down the back rock, covered my pumps so it's safe. It's getting pretty big, like 7", and in a 14 it's taking up a lot of space. Is there anything I can do to piss it off even more to get it to split?

To add to what Nonuser said it you take the room temp saltwater and place the return line directed at the nem when topping up back up it seems to make them split sometimes. This doesn't always work but it is a good start. I have a flame nem and this technique doesn't work on him but it has worked in the past for me on other nems. I have also used heavy feeding but downside is if it doesn't work and the nem doesn't split you just made your situation worse by a bigger nem. lol If you really need it to split and you are able to take it out you can cut with a razor blade from top to bottom right down the middle. Down side nem doesn't always survive so I myself would not test this unless I really needed to. Make sure what you cut with is sterile to ovoid infections.

Don't use more then 50% or it could die .. I lost mine from a big water change because the prams went off before I could fix it , stressed out and died :(

It's starting to pinch and pull different ways! Woohoo! Is this a flame bubble tip?
