What Brand Of Cal & Alk To Use?

Just curious to see what everyone is using to dose Cal & Alk? I'm going to try and get my DOS hooked up and was wondering what is the most common brand used. I purchased some ReefCrest Sodium Carbonate & Calcium Chloride from J&L Aquatics when I got the doser but I really have no knowledge with these products so I'm a little nervous to add them to the tank. Has anyone ever used these? Any input would be greatly appreciated as I have never ran a doser before.


And are there any local reefers in the KW area that are familiar with the Apex & DOS that could possibly give a helping hand if I get stuck?? Computers and I don't really get along well. I would be willing to pay $ or could pay in corals for your time.

I've tried probably all of them.
Do not see any major difference. Basically difference only how it is dissolved, not in chemical effectiveness.
It works something like this:
- start with recommended dosing
- check Calcium/Alkalinity level every day
- after 3-7 day adjust accordingly
When system more stable test can be done once in 1-2 weeks.
