What brand of heater does everyone use?

I use the Ebo-Jager heaters and have had no problems with them so far. I run multiple units though just in case one craps out. I run them off a controller as well in case one of the manual controls craps out and keeps the heater on for some reason.
I have heard that the titanium heaters can actually rust over time... Have yet to really research it but that is what I have been told. Also, I have heard good things about the Hydro in-line units. Again, no personal experience but just going by what others have to say.

I using a petsmart bought brand ..forget what make its in the sump tank ..been goin over a year

I have the exact same setup...2 ebo jagers in the sump with the apex as a backup.

Still seems everyone runs a backup heater either way. An apex is out of the question right now.
I will look into the ebo heaters, pretty sure I have used one before in the past. The one I have right now is the Ehiem one, but it is too large and does not fit in my sump.
