What Is This?

Well thank the gods December is almost over. Between travel, family and other things I have had no time for anything else. I have tried not to neglect things, but certainly haven't been able to maintain my routine.

None-the-less, can someone tell me what this is?

welcome to my world, I have tons of them in my coral tank. I was told (here) they are a type of snail and that they are a good thing to have in your tank. if you have any alge they will eat it. but they are pretty gross things.

+2 They are the best snails ever and not available to lfs be glad you have them cuz everyone wants them hopefully they start to multiply im up to 6 or 7 now and wish i had more

Exactly. Send some this way. I had dozens in my old tank, none in my current set up . I loved them. Kept the glass clean and normally only came out in numbers when lights were out
