I just jammed a screwdriver to make holes in Styrofoam. I also have some just chilling in my baffles.

I've not had any issues with it.. I use it as well if I have to float something in the tank for a bit. I take an old plastic bowl (that I can't find the lid for anymore) punch holes in it and put a stryofoam ring around to float in the tank..

You guys didn't have any problems with them rooting with the pods just floating around in the Styrofoam?

I've always been under the impression that they take much longer to root and grow when not stable. I'm probably wrong because I see @Torx has a few leaves on his.

I used live rock in my fuge to suspend the pods. Seems to have worked for me. I've got 16 of them with roots and leaves.

I have not had any issues. I will be even better off when my tanks come from J_T. Not sure when I will be getting them...or how at this point actually. LoL.

Then I will be 'planting' them, or whichever you want to call it
