That's correct! What type of overflow do you have? Beananimal?

Primary/siphonIs that your trickle or syphon line?

Opened it up, and close completely, tried restarting a dozen times. Nothing's stuck other than air hahaYou might have something stuck in there. Mine used to get plant leaves sucked in (fw of course), and a couple times a dead fish. Open it up completely, it may flush it out.

It's a 40BTry taking out the elbow of the syphon line in the box, crank up the flow til the waterline in above the bulkhead, then put the elbow back on. Sounds crazy, but sometimes air can get trapped in the top of the elbow. If that doesn't work, then i don't know Those were the two solutions i used for mine. Out of curiosity, where did you get that tank? Looks like my old 135.

The siphon line does have the valve, I think your seeing the return pipe in the pic with the 4 pipes.Just noticed your syphon line (with the valve) has the elbow facing up. Should be facing down.

Yep! That's what it's doing right nowI have a gate valve? that I can slowly turn. If turned one way the water drains into the sump causing these bubbles. Turn the other way I can reduce the flow and the water in the tank rises until it starts to drain from the overflow this is a separate pipe. The amount of turning of this valve is millimetres. One way bubbles the other water from the overflow pipe. Just right there is a slow trickle of the overflow pipe.
Not using the correct lingo.
But the principle is the water is drained via the down turned pipes you have at the back. Once it rises too high the upturned pipes will catch and drain the water into the sump. You must restrict the flow so that it's right at the edge I've the upturned but not using the down turned full throttle.
So what goes in to the display must drain out . Equal but opposite reaction type thing you get it?
