Anyone using af mag test kits or Red Sea

I’ve been using salifert for 3-4 years now , but have been tempted to switch to Hana checkers to see the difference and maybe a little more accurate with consistency.

as for magnesium I was wondering which of the 2 mentioned in title would be better for someone who’s only use to salifert kits.

I’ve used Red Sea mag tests for years- these are really easy to use - highly recommended. You can do a test in about 3 -5 minutes.
2 reagents and then a titration.

Never used AF before. I pretty much have only used RedSea except one time I bought NYOS, then went back to RedSea.

I just watched the brs 2019 vid on the mag kits , and to me the Red Sea and af kits stood out the most I find I can be off a little between 2 back to back test of my salifert
I’m sure it’s probably when I add the powder in lol

@TORX how did you like the nyos? It looked like more steps and was the most $
Pretty much the case. The accuracy is great and very easy to read, even the bottles look nicer. However yes, more money for less tests. Not worth the added value to me.
