Anyone have any experience running strictly actinics? I have a quad HO T5 (2 12000K & 2 actinic). I really like the blue look and don't really care for the white lights at all. If I were to run 4 blues would I be stuck growing only low light corals? I've read some forums where people have done it, but most seem to frown upon it. Thoughts?

Yes, low light corals would be about the only thing you can grow using solely atinics. What you can do is use all ATI Blue Plus lamps. They are very blue but still have enough other spectrums in it to grow your corals. If you have SPS in there though, I would use 3 x Blue Plus and 1 x Coral Plus. The Coral Plus lamp has a lot more white but also has some purple in there so it mutes the white down in the tank.
