Anemone Closed

My bubble tip is closed up and has been now for the past 3 weeks.
It still moves around the tank at night but I haven’t seen it opened for a long time.
Thoughts?

Leather is out extended.
Nepthea looks same as usual

Nitrate? Ammonia? Nitrite? Other Params look fine

Outdated test kit for the Nitrate and Nitrite.
No ammonia test.


Tank is about 3 years old.
2 clowns 1 purple tang and cleanup crew.

About 2 months ago my nem moved to the very top corner of the tank beside the return line. It’s belached out but the clowns are still hosting in it... I just left it there as it seems ok besides colour loss and give me more room on the rocks for sps lol

I know what will happen.
It will come out again. Find itself somewhere close to whatever the most expensive pieces I have are located and start burning them with the bubble tips.

So, yesterday anemone opened for the first time since I purchased it.
Been closed well over 3 months.
Clown seems happy.
Bubbles are nice and bright pink tipped.
Let’s hope it’s happy and healthy now.
Not sure what triggered the change but glad I left alone.

They sometimes wander looking for the sweet spot to settle.

Problem is, it wandered for about 2 months never opening.
Was thinking it would not open.
Finally now opened.
Still only about 3in across but at least it’s open and bubbled up!

Anemone must be happy as it has now split.

I think they split when they feel threatened
Mine was happy for over a year then when I switched tanks it split
