My trigger seems to think it owns the tank. And doesn't like the frag plugs on my rack. Anyone else experience something like this before or after 7 years is my trigger just becoming a jerk.

triggers are very active and smart they will do whatever to entertain themselves.. i have found that they do best in a larger tank 180-200++ with other large fish , my pinktail is prob the boss of my tank... and just to be aware, i had 2 different niger triggers jump out of tanks..

what kind of trigger do you have there?
Its a Niger trigger. I've had him for 7years now. 3rd fish I purchased when I setup the tank. He is the biggest fish in the tank (it's only a 90) until recently he was the biggest chicken in the tank.

Yep, my large pair of clownfish are menaces. They try and flip over glued frags and even attempt to move the rockwork (obviously with little success). They try and flip over any new additions, including Tridacna clams. Sometimes I feel like turning them into sushi lol

Update. My trigger didn't like any frag plugs on the rack. He didn't like any plugs on my sand bed (he does like them all in a upside down in a pile) but has no issue with them on the rocks. I don't get it.

Between him and my clowns that completely ignored my bubble tip anemone, in favour of my tanks return pipe. This tank is getting stranger every day
