I agree with it being Hydnophora Pilosa. I have the same and the none technical name is non encrusting horn coral.

They kill everything that it comes close to. Anything within a inch at least. They will send out sweepers and overtake the coral. It will kill any snail. Very aggressive.

Mine is about 4x6" and 2" high on the sandbed in a safe spot
