This is also a great point as to why kman and I have been swapping corals for over 20yrs. We try our best to ensure the survival of all corals we purchase by giving it to a friend in case it either doesn't do well in one of our systems or if one of us has a disaster that may harm or kill one of the corals. Hell, we've even given each other colonies before because they're not doing the best in one of our systems.

It's a great way to protect your investment and the hobby itself!
