Clown Gone Crazy

I think that my clown might have laid some eggs. she is about 4" long and hiding at the back of the tank, unfortunely the back is painted and I can't see what going on but, she is very protective of the area chasing all the others away. she will only come out to eat,do they protect their eggs? do the parents eat the babies when they hatch.. this has been going on for about a week to 10 days..her behaviour is really strange for her. any suggestions..

Could be eggs. Mine are very protective of there eggs. I don't think the parents eat them, more so the other occupants. But I could be wrong.
