Colored PVC they sell is "furniture grade" and NOT tested/rated for plumbing use. That said, pressure under typical under the aquarium sump isn't an issue but a keen insurance adjuster will void your claim using an unapproved product IF there is an issue.

No colored PVC is pressure rated. But with that being said, the pressure in an aquarium will never exceed the strength of pvc piping.The piping from Reef PVC is as strong as, if not stronger than your regular sch.40 pvc Pipe. The only problem you could possibly run into is if you don’t prime and glue your piping together correctly in which case an insurance company wouldn’t cover you even if you did use pressure rated PVC pipe
